Ms. Nurfariha Akmal Fawwazah

Nurfariha Akmal Fawwazah is an adaptable International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) student with a proven record of versatile education and academic achievements as well as extracurricular experiences, with nearly 2 years of work experience. 

Being a graduate from the Malaysian National Gifted Center, Kolej PERMATA@Pintar Negara, she is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in History and Civilisation, and is currently completing courses in history and political science with a remarkable achievement by getting on the Dean’s List (GPA 3.50 or higher) for four semesters. Moreover, she is actively participating in extracurricular activities including Parlimen Mahasiswa Kebangsaan 2023.

During the course of her academic career, Fariha also managed to accrue nearly 2 years of work experience. She has the privilege of working for Centre for Credited Co-Curricula, IIUM in a part-time facilitator role in her free time, where she learned valuable professional skills such as adaptive teaching methods, lifelong learning, and classroom management. 

In both her academic and professional life, she has been consistently praised as detail- oriented by her professors and peers. Whether working on academic, extracurricular, or professional projects, she applies proven analytical, organizational and language skills, which she hopes to improve through the Intern role at Akademi Tenggara.
