Ms. Hayani Nazurah Hasram 

Hayani Nazurah is a dedicated and highly motivated Bachelor of Computer Science student majoring in Data Science and Computational Intelligence at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). She consistently demonstrates academic excellence, achieving a spot on the Dean's List for four semesters. 

Her leadership experience is highlighted by her role as a representative at the Uniformed Bodies International Camping event, where she managed logistics, facilitated communication between international participants, and engaged in workshops that taught valuable first aid, emergency response, and leadership skills. 

Hayani’s dedication to continuous learning and innovation is further reflected in her numerous honors and awards. She successfully completed the ASEAN Data Science Explorer program, where she received training on SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Build Apps, provided by the ASEAN Foundation and SAP. Additionally, she participated in the 2024 INNOVATEX Tech Expo, where she showcased her project titled SADA: Student Attention Deficit Alert System, gaining valuable exposure to innovative technologies and also sharing her own project which uses new technology called Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology and EEG data to automatically detect and alert students about attention deficits. 

She also received the Silver Award for her project titled MEH: Breaking the Silence of Mental Health as part of the University in Action program. This project highlighted her passion for mental health advocacy, which was also evident when she led a program to raise mental health awareness among high school students, engaging with the younger generation on this critical issue. Furthermore, Hayani developed a Spotify Depression Detection System, a project aimed at analyzing user data to detect potential indicators of depression through their listening habits. This innovative system exemplifies her passion for using technology to address mental health challenges.

Currently, Hayani plays a core role at Akademi Tenggara as both the Web Designer and Administrative Assistant, where she manages web design tasks, website maintenance, and administrative responsibilities, combining her technical expertise with her organizational skills to support the institution's goals.
